Culinary arts special collection

Our culinary arts collection is the second largest gastronomic collection in the country. The basis of the collection is partly provided by the several hundred volumes of manuals and lexicons left from the library of the Academy of Commerce, as well as a very valuable catering industry collection received from the Hospitality Department of the Ministry of Internal Trade. The collection, which now numbers more than 6.500 volumes, includes specialist books on culinary arts, diet, confectionary, hotel industry, classification of goods, company catering, professional histories, lexicons, dictionaries, geographical and art historical works. Teachers, professionals, and external researchers use this valuable collection in their work.
