BUEB FCHT Faculty and Tourism Library

The BUEB FCHT Faculty and Tourism Library will permanently close on May 30 and relocate to a new location. Our new address: 1148 Budapest, Bagolyvár str. 6-10. University Library, UniZone The library is closed during the summer and is expected to reopen in early September. You can borrow the books until May 30th, and you can borrow them for the whole summer, and we don't charge late fees during that time. The books can be returned to the UniZone, where a return box is located, or to existing boxes in the Alkotmány street building. The library's current e-mail address is valid until August 1, after which we will be contacted at a new e-mail address: konyvtar@uni-bge.hu We welcome everyone in Alkotmány street until May 30, and from September with unchanged services at our new place!

The two faculty libraries in one place! The 2024/25 academic year will start with the faculty's two long-standing library collections under the name BBU FCHT Faculty and Tourism Library. Changes in contact details: The phone number and e-mail address of the Tourism Library will be deleted. As of September, 2024, the following contact details are available: e-mail: konyvtar.kvik@uni-bge.hu Telephone: +36 1 374-6235 The contents of the website of the Tourism Library (Knowledge Repository, Digitized archive materials, Thematic bibliography of articles in foreign languages, etc.) will be continuously transferred to the common website from now on: https://konyvtar-kvik.uni-bge.hu/en Library ("VPN") databases are still available in the same place. Personal services in the old-new library: From September 16, 2024, the collection of the Tourism Library will be partially accessible on the 2nd floor of the Alkotmány street building or will be available from stock. Although the merging of the two book collections and the two different integrated library systems (software) will take a long time, basic services will already be available. Students can visit the Reading Room from September 16. Literature research is always possible, with prior consultation. You can speed up the process by sending requests by e-mail or on the request form available on the website. Librarians are always available for instructors and colleagues. You can still order specialist books, interlibrary loans, literature research, and MTMT support in person, by phone, or by e-mail.
