MISSION STATEMENT<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Library of the Faculty of Commerce, Hospitality and Tourism of the Budapest University of Economics and Business is the Faculty's central specialist library base and information institution.
Its task - in accordance with the education and research strategy of the Faculty - is to provide the teachers, students and the profession with the highest possible level of specialist literature from a wide range of sources, in a well-equipped IT environment, in a cultured reading area, with a high level of professional librarianship.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The library is a national public library.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The most important domestic collector and provider of Hungarian and international literature.
Its aim and mission is to provide as many satisfied readers as possible with information in a wide range of documents that have been processed to a sufficient depth. It does so with well-trained, helpful staff, modern technical equipment and a cultured environment.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Its mission is two-way.
On one hand, it supports the teaching and research work of the staff of the Department of Tourism and, in particular, the provision of literature to students specialising in tourism. Its activities are determined by changes in the faculties' courses and training forms.
On the other hand, it provides a public library service for professionals, researchers, educational centres and other interested parties active in the entire tourism sector.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
